The City of Fayetteville is located in Cumberland County. The city is currently ranked last in the country by WalkScore for cities with populations over 200,000. The City of Fayetteville held a Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Campaign at Westover Recreation Center in June of 2017 to collaborate with stakeholders and raise awareness of the need for safety in the community. The City of Fayetteville believes the Watch for Me NC program can help meet community goals of improving safety for vulnerable road uses.

Partnerships
The Fayetteville Police Department leads Watch for Me NC efforts in the city and has collaborated with other agencies including the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, the City of Fayetteville, Parks and Recreation Department, Fire Department, Public Services Department, Traffic Services, Public Information Department, NCDOT, and media outlets. They are also pursuing collaboration with the Fayetteville Health Department and leaders of faith-based church groups and congregations.
